As Head of Content for UBM Awards & Partnerships, the UK’s leading specialist in awards design, production and management, Alex Evans is responsible for managing all aspects of content around core programmes including the National Business Awards (www.nationalbusinessawards.co.uk) and the National Sales Awards (www.nationalsalesawards.com). With a remit that includes identifying between 150 and 200 specialist judges each year across several programmes, managing an Advisory Board of business leaders, designing new award categories and spin-off awards, Alex draws upon over a decade of experience at editor level across a range of industries – launching and developing magazines, conferences and awards. Tasked with keeping people engaged in the Awards all year round, Alex engages the Alumni of winners and finalists through blogs, e-newsletters and social media. He is also developing a range of new value content propositions for the growing Alumni of winners and finalists – from written and filmed case studies to video profiles and tailored thought-leadership events.
