How much does it cost to enter?
The cost per entry per category is £100 + VAT. (Total £117.50)
Invoiced orders must be over £500 exclusive of VAT and with a valid Purchase Order number.
Why do I need to pay?
This Awards programme, unlike many others, has a very rigorous and robust judging process. The short-listing usually takes a panel of judges 5 days or more and the presentations usually take a further three weeks. The nominal fee that you are required to pay contributes towards administration and the judging process. The entry fee also ensures that entrants are committed to seeing the process through.
How long does it take?
We suggest that you allow at least 1 - 2 days to complete the application form. All the questions are important and need careful consideration.
Short-listed companies will be required to present in person to a panel of judges. The finalist judging will take 45 minutes where you are required to do a 15 minute presentation followed by a 10-15 minute question and answer session with 10 minutes allowed for set up and break down of any equipment.
Where will the judging take place?
Presentations to a judging panel for short-listed finalists will take place during November 2006 at the Chartered Institute of Marketing, Cookham Berkshire.
Who are the judges?
Over 120 independent judges from a variety of industry sectors including many senior sales and marketing personnel, consultants and academics are involved in assessing the submission documents and the final presentations. At no time does any judge become involved with any finalist from the same company or with whom there is a personal involvement or a professional interest. This year the selling skills of finalists in the appropriate individual categories will also be assessed using tools provided by leading sales skills assessment organisations. A minimum of four judges preside over each Award category.
Who can enter?
Individuals and teams from any size organisation from any industry sector.
Why should we enter?
The National Sales Awards is the largest event of its kind to offer national recognition against a broad base of industry sectors. The feedback we get is that just to be recognised and nominated is fantastic, to be selected as a finalist is truly an honour. Attending the Oscars-style awards ceremony is highly motivating and an amazing experience.
How many awards are there?
There are 26 Awards categories to choose from covering all aspects of Sales in the UK.
What can we get out of it?
To be recognised and nominated for an award is highly motivating.
The PR opportunities that emerge for finalists and winners companies are immense. We have a strong PR team and will work hard with entrants to maximise the PR coverage. Other benefits are: awareness amongst hundreds of other competing organisations; association with the values of this robust competition; and recognition of effort. Use of the National Sales Awards logo and networking and benchmarking opportunities.
